Social Skills Groups at Acclaim Autism provide clinic-based, therapeutic group services designed to help children develop foundational social, communication, and emotional regulation skills.
These clinician-led groups use evidence-based approaches to teach social interaction skills in a structured and supportive environment. Social Skills Groups are available to both existing Acclaim Autism clients and children who are not currently receiving ABA therapy.

Social Skills Groups are therapeutic services provided by Acclaim Autism. Participation may require intake, clinical review, and insurance authorization. Group availability and funding vary by location and individual eligibility.

Social Skills Groups at Acclaim Autism are therapeutic services guided by evidence-based practices and clinical best standards. Curriculum and instructional strategies are selected by the clinical team based on each group’s goals, developmental level, and individual learning needs.
Groups meet in Acclaim Autism clinics with peers of a similar age and social ability. Sessions may occasionally include structured opportunities to practice social skills in natural or community-based settings when clinically appropriate. Social Skills Groups may be covered by insurance depending on individual eligibility and plan requirements.

Participation may be appropriate for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or related developmental or social challenges, including both existing Acclaim Autism clients and children not currently receiving ABA therapy. Eligibility is determined through clinical review and insurance requirements.
Insurance coverage for diagnostic evaluations is separate from coverage for ongoing ABA therapy services.
Social Skills Groups are designed primarily for younger children building foundational social skills. Adolescents and young adults ages 13 and older may be better suited for the PEERS® Social Skills Program, which is specifically designed for teens and young adults.
