Yes. Highmark covers diagnostic assessment and ABA therapy for Autism Spectrum Disorder as required by Pennsylvania Act 62 and applicable benefit contracts
A licensed physician, psychologist, or qualified clinician following current clinical standards.
Diagnostic evaluations are currently in-network only with Aetna and Cigna.
If your plan does not cover diagnostic assessments with Acclaim Autism, you may still receive an evaluation through our private-pay option. Many families choose this route to begin ABA services sooner.
Treatment plans are reviewed and updated every six months, or more often if needed, to ensure measurable progress.
